Getting started
EonBox is an AI workspace for study. Chat with AI, upload your files, write notes, draw, read open papers and textbooks on the Bookshelf, and practise with mock exams, all in one place. Answers can draw on your own files, so the more you study here, the more useful it gets.
EonBox runs on Claude, a frontier model made by Anthropic. Every plan uses the same model.

EonBox works best on a laptop or desktop browser today. Phone support is improving.
Chat and your files
PDFs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, images, text and Markdown, and more: 29 file extensions in all.
Free accounts get 500 MB. Plus, Pro and Max get 2 GB, 5 GB and 10 GB once paid plans open.
Put your files in a folder. In a new chat, press plus, choose Select folder, and pick it. Answers that use your files name them under the reply.
EonBox tells you it found nothing relevant in your files. Where it helps, it then answers from general knowledge, clearly labelled.
No. AI can make mistakes, including in calculations, dates and citations. Check important answers against your textbook, your teacher or an official source.
Bookshelf
A library you can search from inside EonBox: research papers, articles, textbooks, question papers, theses and medical books, drawn from open academic sources covering more than 300 million records. Open works open right in the reader as PDFs. Works without an open copy open at the publisher.
The Bookshelf shows openly licensed and publicly available works from sources such as OpenAlex, arXiv, PubMed, OpenStax, NCERT, OAPEN, the World Bank, NCBI Bookshelf and official exam bodies. Rights stay with their owners. If you own a work and want it removed, see Copyright.
Mock exams
Any exam you name. EonBox builds a mock in that exam's style, with a timer, a question palette, marking and a results screen. Popular choices include JEE Main, NEET UG, UPSC CSE, CAT, GATE and many more.
No. Mocks are AI-generated practice. They follow the exam's style but can differ from the official pattern in question count, timing or marking, and individual questions can contain mistakes. Always check the latest pattern on the official exam website.

Plans
Yes. Every account starts on the Free plan, with a limited daily allowance of AI chat, 500 MB of storage, and the Bookshelf, notes, drawing, mock exams and artifacts included.
No. Every plan runs the same frontier model. Paid plans raise your limits.

Privacy and your account
We do not use your content to train AI models.
Your account and content are stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia. Some processing happens with providers in the United States and Singapore. The full list is on the Sub-processors page.
You can delete chats, notes, drawings, folders and files in the app at any time. To export everything or delete your account, write to contact@eonbox.in from your account email. We complete requests within 30 days.
