Terms of Use

1. Agreement#

These Terms are an agreement between you and EonBox Private Limited, Hyderabad, India. By using EonBox you accept them, along with our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

2. Who can use EonBox#

EonBox is built for students. If you are under 18, you may use EonBox only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use.

3. Your account#

Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens in your account. One account per person.

4. The service and AI output#

• EonBox uses AI to answer questions, build artifacts and create mock exams. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check important information against reliable sources.
• EonBox is a study tool. It does not give professional medical, legal or financial advice. Medical and clinical content is for study only.
• Mock exams are AI-generated practice. They are not official papers and do not predict your result.
• We may change, add or remove features. We will tell you about material changes.

5. Your content#

You own what you upload and create. You give EonBox the permission it needs to host, process and display your content only to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train AI models.

6. AI output#

Subject to the law and the rights of others, you may use the output EonBox generates for you. Similar output may be generated for other users.

7. Acceptable use#

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. The Bookshelf and third-party content#

The Bookshelf gives access to works owned by others under their own licences. Your use of those works is subject to those licences. Rights holders can ask for removal through our Copyright page.

9. Plans and limits#

EonBox is free today, with limits shown on our Plans page. We may change limits to keep the service fair and running. Paid plans are not yet available; before any payment is taken, we will publish billing, refund and cancellation terms.

10. Suspension and termination#

You can stop using EonBox at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to contact@eonbox.in. We may remove content or suspend or end access if you break these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, or if required by law. Where the law requires, we will preserve information and report offences to the authorities.

11. Disclaimers#

EonBox is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that AI output will be accurate.

12. Limitation of liability#

To the extent the law allows, EonBox is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

13. Changes to these Terms#

We will post updates here and tell you in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use EonBox after that means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law#

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer commission.
